Innovative eco-active surfaces, i.e. Active Surfaces®, were chosen for the expansion of Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, a 4-Star Superior hotel in Iserlohn, Germany, which is ideal for both leisure and business travel as it offers comfortable, well-kept accommodation, a wellness area with a swimming pool and sauna, restaurants and meeting rooms. 

The new wing of the hotel, called “Haus am Wald” (ed. House in the Woods), is a five-story building with a total of 77 new rooms, including some suites, fully immersed in nature. The stone effect of the Whole collection by Iris Ceramica, a brand of Iris Ceramica Group, is prominently featured in the rooms in the Active Surfaces® version. Thanks to their four eco-active properties, these surfaces are the ideal solution for the hospitality industry in that they improve healthiness, well-being and safety for guests, while keeping a strong focus on design and on the aesthetic appeal of these materials.
