From 2 to 6 July, the eco-active Active Surfaces® will be present at the UIA World Congress of Architects, the largest international architecture and green building congress held this year at the Bella Center in Copenhagen, presenting the topic of “Sustainable Futures - Leave No One Behind”.
Appointed World Architecture Capital 2023, with its innovative urban development model, Copenhagen has maintained strong ties with green architecture, becoming a global source of inspiration. In particular, the aim of the World Congress of Architects is to make architecture a central tool for achieving the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In this context, the interactive Active Surfaces® installation will welcome visitors to the Iris Ceramica Group Booth– Hall C / Booth C2-002, a space designed to express the values that have always guided the Group: sustainability, innovation and beauty.
With the user-friendly ICG PLAY App, visitors can interact with the installation, entering a world created using augmented reality to discover the four beneficial properties of our eco-active materials. An authentic sensory journey helping to discover how this extraordinary ceramic material is able to improve the environment and how we interact with it.
The World Congress of Architects will be a major opportunity for engaging people, professionals and institutions in a dialogue on architecture and its sustainable development. The presence of the natural Active Surfaces® materials bears witness to their role as ambassadors of the Group’s values, and a concrete example of our commitment to building a better future together.
