Our LIFE+ DIGITALIFE project is among the 15 finalists of the LIFE Awards 2019 promoted by the European Commission.
In the LIFE + DIGITALIFE project, traditional ceramics are modified to exploit the properties of photocatalytic titanium dioxide deposited by means of a new digital technology.
Active slabs have new properties that allow healthy ceramic surfaces where to live in total safety. It is possible to clean the surfaces with simple water and mild detergents, to have rooms without odors and free of toxic molecules commonly present in the air, as well as to have a product with antibacterial action, even against particularly dangerous strains. The health of our environments directly affects our health and our well-being.
Our LIFE + DIGITALIFE project is competing to win one of the three categories of the LIFE Awards 2019 (Environment, Nature or Climate Actions). Shortly, European citizens will have the opportunity to choose their winner among the fifteen selected by an online vote.
