HISTORY AND INNOVATION ON THE ROOF-TOP OF PALAZZO DELLE POSTE IN LECCE

Active Surfaces® by Iris Ceramica Group were chosen for the flooring on the roof-top terrace with a swimming pool in this recently renovated early 20th century building.

The eco-active Active Surfaces® by Iris Ceramica Group were used on the roof-top terrace with swimming pool at Palazzo delle Poste in Lecce. The renovation project was promoted by MR Investments from Campobasso, a company working in the national real estate sector that is accredited with the major sector players.

Built in the early 20th century and located in the historical city centre in Lecce, Palazzo delle Poste has been redeveloped, including the conservative restoration of the façades. Today the building is used for residential purposes: it hosts 32 apartments with state-of-the-art fittings on three floors, and a swimming pool has been installed on the terrace for private use by the residents, and where the floors have been covered with Active Surfaces®.

The project blends historical beauty, thanks to the conservative restoration works that aimed to maintain the original architecture, with innovation, represented by the eco-active Active Surfaces®, focusing on the fundamental issues of health, well-being and the environment.
