Active Surfaces® have obtained two important certifications in the “food contact” sector.

The certifications were issued by an accredited BELAC laboratory, the EU certification institute specialised in testing materials used in the food sector. The results confirm that Active Surfaces® materials can be used in direct contact with food in full safety, whatever the type and formulation of the foods they come into contact with.

According to the studies carried out, Active Surfaces® conform to the European Union directives on contact with foodstuffs, demonstrating that they can be a perfect ally also in any setting where foods are present.
